I will be doing "office hours" on B days from 11:00 - 12:00 on Google Meet, I will send you an email with the link in the morning so you can join the meeting at 11:00 to get help if needed.
April 7 (A Day) / April 8 (B day): Show what you Know
Quiz on Balancing Reactions
Under the "Chem in Action" are tutorials that you could review balancing reactions if you need more practice.
If you would like to redo the quiz, send me an email and I will send a quiz back to you to fill out by hand. Then send me a picture back completed and I will grade it.
April 9 (A day) / April 13 (B day)
In your lab book fill out the notes on page 6-7, click here for notes. We will review these notes and practice doing problems for the next two days.
If you are missing anything, or still have stuff to get turned in today would be a great day to get caught up!
April 14 (A day) / April 15 (B day)
First: For each type of reaction type watch the demonstration of the reaction, sorry these are better live, but this will give you an idea.
Second: Watch the tutorial to see how to do these problems
Third: Complete the practice and see how you do, redo it necessary till you understand what is happening in each reaction. Then work on your homework problems

Types of Chemical reactions practice
Print off the above page, work through the problems for the next two class periods. Spend about 30 min. each class period and you will get done with it. Synthesis is the same a composition, and be sure to read the heading of each section.
April 22 (A day) / April 23 (B day)
Refer to the previous days and continue practicing the reactions on the worksheets.
Video tutorial of worksheets: 1, 2
Key for worksheets
Record score here: Score is based on how well you feel about your understanding of completing and identifying chemical reactions.
April 24 (A day) / April 27 (B day):
If you need more practice go through and complete this lab activity: Reaction lab
Worksheets to fill out as you watch the lab just pages 5-8
*You will not be turning anything in, this is just to help you practice so you can get better before the quiz.
If you feel confident in your ability and are really ready to take the quiz skip today's work and take tomorrow's quiz.
April 28 (A day) / April 29 (B day): Show what you know!!
First: Grade 1- 35, make sure you complete reaction type for all 1-35:

Unit Assessment- Game day!!!!
Watch this video to help explain the assessment.
Chemical Reaction Assessment Print this off, Complete it. You can use your naming sheet, you periodic table and your knowledge. This is like a test in class! When you are done send a picture, that I can see and read, back to my email and I will grade it. Good Luck
For those of you I told you would have a video portion to go with this assessment, I changed my mind, it is the end of a long quarter, and did not include one.
